We are Seoul Mate,
a college student tourism volunteer club that provides free tours to foreigners.
Have you ever heard of the sentence that "When you meet SEOUL, SEOULMATE."?
It's a slogan expressing our club,
We are trying to let foreigners know the hidden charm of Seoul.
We offer a wide variety of tour courses,
I would like to explain in detail one of them, the Seoul Forest Tour. :)
In the Seoul Forest Tour,
you can feel the nature and meet wild animals.
If you like nature or taking a walk, I recommend this course!
It is also known as a good place for picnics for Koreans
The estimated time of the tour is 3 hours, and admission is free.
There are many walking courses, so It's good to wear comfortable clothes and shoes
Seoul Forest is the first park created with the participation of citizens
from creation to program operation.
There are four themes here: Culture and Arts Park, Experiential Learning Center, Ecological Forest, and Wetland Ecological Garden.
Especially, you can see beautiful scenery with cherry blossoms in spring.

This is a statue of Gunma, a sculpture representing a horse racing scene.
Before Seoul Forest was created,
did you know that in the past, it was used as a 'tukseom racetrack'?
The Gunma statue, titled START, was created in 2005 to commemorate the past
when Seoul Forest was created.
It symbolizes a new leap by vividly embodying the starting scene of a racehorse,
and you can feel the urgency and dynamism of the horse running vigorously.
Also, there is Mugunghwa Garden here.
It's a place where there are only Mugunghwa trees.
Mugunghwa has the characteristic of constantly blooming and blooming,
so it blooms every day at dawn for about 100 days in summer.
Mugunghwa's strong will will give you strength :D
Various wild animals such as elk, deer and squirrels live in Seoul Forest!
Deer are the most famous among them.
Don't you want to go on a date with a deer?
This is the Seoul Forest Cloud Bridge.
You can enjoy the view of the Han River while walking along the bridge.
You can also see Namsan Tower and Lotte Tower, Seoul's landmarks.

Lastly, Seoul Forest Cafe Street.
This is a small alley located in the north of Seoul Forest.
These days, many people visit it on weekends,
and it's a famous place for its unique dating course.
It is a place where you can easily find cute shops and cafes with a good mood.

- Since it's a park tour so there's not much to explain (unlike for example a tour to a palace or something really historic), so it makes for a more relaxed atmosphere and lots of time to talk and get to know each other. The committee can reach everyone and pay attention to everyone, talk with everyone.
